Darbster, the vegan restaurant in West Palm Beach that's celebrating its first birthday (free cake slice for everyone on Sunday), is cooking up a non-turkey turkey with the trimmings. It's at one seating only, Thanksgiving Day.
On the plate:
Roast "turkey" roulade with porcini gravy; steamed acorn squash with
herbed wild rice and quinoa stuffing, sweet potatoes with toasted
marshmallows, haricot vert with crispy shallots, organic cranberry
chutney, pumpkin and pecan pies.
Cost is $30 for adults; $20 for
those 12 and younger (drinks, tax, tip extra). Dinner is at 2:30, and
reservations must be made this week with a deposit.
For those who can't do the sit-down dinner, they're offering take-out dinners.
Both must be reserved in advance. To reserve, email [email protected]
