Support the independent voice of South Florida and help keep the future of New Times free.

Although Clean Plate Charlie is the only food blog you need to read every day, some people just can't get enough. And some people don't like to read at all. This post is for you! This week, we're highlighting food blogs which focus on pretty pictures.

Fast Food Ads vs. Reality puts the actual products side by side with their advertisements. The results? Not so pretty.

Travel by Food does exactly what it sounds like. Take a visual tour through the street foods that make foreign countries so delicious.

Guess what Food Photo Blog focuses on? Yup, pictures of food, with very bare descriptions. It's gluttony made easy!

The Google Food Blog is a man's tour though the cafeteria at Google. Kinda makes every other workplace eatery look like McDonald's in comparison.

Finally, Good Is has a stark and disturbing collection of fast-food photographs. They're not doctored up, not set side by side with the advertisements. It's just fast food in all its glory.

Keep New Times Broward-Palm Beach Free... Since we started New Times Broward-Palm Beach, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of South Florida, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering South Florida with no paywalls.
