Well, looky here... What just landed in our lap but two free tickets to Rocktoberfest, the annual beer-drenched festival at Esplanade Park, over by the Museum of Discovery and Science in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The event is this Friday, from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. The tickets, which normally cost $20 apiece, get you free samples from 30-plus beer vendors and a slew of area restaurants (PL8 Kitchen, Rok:Brgr, Tarpon Bend, and more). Eight food trucks will be on-site if you are still hungry after that. (Costs extra.) Five bands -- including Slip and the Spinouts and Fourth Dimension -- will play. For all the details, click here.
