WoBtoberfest Comes to World of Beer October 15 and 16

It seems like every day is Octoberfest at World of Beer. There are so many mugs lifted on high, drinking songs, and plates of meaty food being flung around, it's like a German bacchanal 24/7.

That means an actual Octoberfest celebration at World of Beer should be the beer party to end all beer parties.

The popular beer bar will hold its inaugural Octoberfest, called WoBtoberfest, on October 15 and 16. The shindig will include beer specials and live entertainment, and proceeds will benefit Abi's Place, which teaches children with severe developmental disabilities.

The celebration will take place in the open grass just south of World of Beer and starts at 4 p.m on Friday and noon on Saturday, running till midnight both days. On Friday, October 15, expect a crazy day full of live music from

Orange Sunshine, Final Shot, DNA, and Sekond Nature.

On Saturday, Brat Pack, the Robert France Band, Smugglin' Yoyo's, Bent

Fender, and Audio Heist will perform. Food will be provided by 160

Degrees, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, and Crepe Maker.

Presale tickets go on sale this weekend for $10 and include both days. Tickets will be $10 per day at the door.
