You Better Shop Around

Now here's a great idea for St. Valentine's Eve: On February 13, Whole Foods Market (1400 Glades Rd., Boca Raton; 561-447-0000) is hosting its first "Find Your Heart in the Cart," a date-matching game for singles. Entrants will be given a shopping cart and a five-minute time limit, during which they will be asked to choose five grocery items that best represent their love interests, romantic desires, personality, and style. (Hey, I could do that in one minute. How long does it take to load up five bottles of organic champagne?) The carts will then be collected and grouped together, and singles will choose anonymous partners based on the contents of those carts. The cost for finding your gourmet-market soul mate is just $10, which will go to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and winning couples will be presented with a romantic dinner at Roy's Boca Raton; make reservations to ensure your spot in the game. And don't forget the carob-flavored body paint.
