Suicide Squad Cast Turns Out for Mural Unveil in Wynwood
Monday, July 25, police blocked off NW Second Avenue between 27th and 28th streets in Wynwood as a mob gathered to watch Will Smith and the crew of Suicide Squad unveil a new mural themed after the upcoming movie. Local street artists Diana "Didi Rok" Contreras and Amanda Valdes spent a week collaboratively painting the wall. To hype the unveil, Warner Bros. threw an afternoon block party hosted by DJ Laz. Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado said a few words on stage before the reveal.
