"David Lee Roth is one of the goofiest, quirkiest, show-pony frontmen of all time. He's fabulous, and sometimes fabulous people get drunk before they go onstage. During 'Women in Love,' he admitted, 'I've been drinking,' and it was like, Yes, that's what's happening here. He's not just old and crazy. He's sloshed."

Van Halen made its first of four stops in Florida on April 10, performing to a sold-out crowd at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise with openers Kool and the Gang. Read the rest of the Van Halen review here. All photos by Ian Witlen.
