of Russia, under the tutelage of awardwinning
dancer Nikolay Anokhin, highlights
excerpts from the most renowned works
from one of ballet’s most prominent composers.
With scenes from Swan Lake, Sleeping
Beauty, and The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky’s
Spectacular represents the composer’s very
best. These works are brought to life in this
full-scale, two-act production by 50 of Russia’s
most promising ballet stars. Watch as
the court jester, the black swan, and even
the lovable nutcracker solider leap, turn,
and curtsy. Because the company delivers
bits and pieces of Tchaikovsky’s work, this
is a great opportunity for ballet novices to
experience the majesty of one of the most
brilliant composers of the past 200 years.
