These days, it seems as though everybody is obsessed with Game of Thrones and craft beer — hey, no one’s complaining about it. And we’re all self-proclaimed foodies now that Instagram exists — OK, the food pics are annoying: No one cares that you ate a sandwich. Your chance to drink beer, make obscure GOT references, and irritate the crap out of everyone via social media is here this Sunday. Biergarten Boca Raton has teamed up with Ommegang Brewery for a special Game of Thrones Beer Dinner.
Taking place from 7 to 9:30 p.m., the dinner features five courses with brews from the beloved brewery, including its special-release Game of Thrones Fire and Blood Ale. Each course is will be paired with its own brew, and John Oteri from Duvel/Ommegang as well as Brian Torres from Brown Distributing will explain each brew and its food partner. The first 20 people to sign up will get a special gift bag, and during the dinner, the staff will raffle off the second season of the show on DVD.
