Bump! is the name of a television series on Logo — MTV’s gay channel. It scopes out tourist destinations for gay travelers, and this past week, it tackled Fort Lauderdale.

The camera crew makes stops in the gay-themed resorts like the Royal Palms, whose management tells of overcoming Fort Lauderdale officials leery about a “flophouse” after it opened in 1991. The Inn Leather also gets to talk about how its rooms each come with a leather swing and that it’s popular among far-flung conservative types looking to shed their inhibitions for a weekend. Unfortunately, no sign of Larry Craig in that segment of the video.
