Walk outside and take a look at the sky. You’ll see sunshine, and that’s because we had a pretty uneventful year when it came to hurricanes. Perhaps Mother Nature decided to give us a break since Republicans made it rain all over the House and Congress.
Whatever the case, while doomsayers hunkered down with batteries and canned food, the native Floridians were out enjoying the sun (but not the surf.)
