The Feast of the Sea Chefs Challenge Series has intensified. With two skirmishes down, chefs Edwin Bermudez of Nick & Johnnie’s and Eugenio Santucci of Ristorante Santucci have secured their spots for the final showdown in September. This third challenge, held at Delray Beach’s Salt 7 Steakhouse & Sushi Restaurant, will feature chefs Chuck McCann of Salt 7, Bruce Feingold of Dada, Alain Zimmer of Vic & Angelo’s, and Adam Gottlieb of Atlantic Grille. While filming the competition among four chefs, the Discovery Channel and Electric Productions will also shoot footage of a bartenders’ competition for broadcast in a new series. The mixologists’ concoctions will be judged on how they pair with the chefs’ output, making this third challenge a little more interesting (and a lot tipsier) than the previous two.

There will also be seafood cooking demonstrations; samples from Salt 7, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and PRP Wine; and drinks courtesy of the competing bartenders. Seating is limited, so buy your $10 guest pass soon if you want to get the full experience of the challenge.

Salt 7 is located at 32 SE Second Ave. in Delray Beach. Call 352-301-0110 or visit feastofthesea.com.
