From the playwright who brought you the Broadway thriller Deathtrap and the novel-turned-movie Rosemary’s Baby comes another infamous mystery making its way to South Florida’s theater scene. Ira Levin’s Veronica’s Room is nothing short of his predilection for the supernatural. The acquisition of Veronica’s Room only strengthens Andrews Living Arts’ reputation as a counterculture-theater venue. The play tells the story of a young woman’s encounter with an elderly Irish couple while out on a date with a man she just met. Deception and delusion are at the heart of this psychological journey as the audience watches Veronica uncover the secrets tucked away in her mind. Can she trust this couple? Are they looking out for her? Is she losing her mind? Directed by Gary Solomons, stage-managed by Anne Solomons, and produced/designed by Robert D. Nation, Veronica’s Room is composed of some of South Florida’s most talented actors. The mystery of Veronica’s Room will leave you perplexed and intrigued at the same time.
