In what must be a pure coincidence, famous Floridians with a battered public image have sprung into action at reports of Haiti’s crisis. Tiger Woods, it seems, it just a little slower to react than Charlie Crist. On his Twitter feed, hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons says that the philandering golfer is sending a cargo plane with a mobile hospital to aid victims of Tuesday’s massive earthquake.
If so, that’s mighty generous. But while he’s at it, Tiger should also send his big-ass yacht. From the looks of it, that can fit a few hundred displaced Haitians, don’t you think?
