With an all-star cast, Broadway’s smash hit comedy Vanities, written by Jack Heifner and directed by John J. Castonia, will leave you bellowing until your stomach hurts. Revered as a “brilliant, clever play,” by the New York Post, Vanities follows the friendship of three small-town women coming of age in the 1960s and ’70s. A combination of witty banter and a self-absorbed perspective, the audience will watch each character undergo the interaction of physical and emotional changes within specific time frames: 1963, 1968, and 1974. Featuring five-time Emmy Award-winning actress Heather Tom and TV starlets Sonia Satra and Nicholle Tom, Vanities will leave you wishing you grew up in this complicated yet unforgettable time period. Posted up at vanity tables throughout a majority of the comedy, their growing pains will become all the more relevant with certain hit songs from each period.
