Father’s Day is just around the corner, which means now is the perfect time to start planning for the most manly of manly men out there, your dad.
In between all the golfing, cigar smoking, and drinking of Scotch, dad will have to eat. Take him to one of the places listed below for a Dad’s Day deal he’ll die for. Oh, and in the event you want to change your mind (your prerogative, as well as Dad’s) we’ll continue to update this list through Father’s Day (June 19).
Morton’s, The Steakhouse
Dad likes steak, right? Of course dad likes steak! Morton’s puts the “men” in menu with a four-course father’s day prix fixe that’s $69 and runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Choose from Morton’s famous baked five onion soup,Caesar salad, or center cut iceberg wedge, before moving onto the good stuff: double cut filet mignon, New York strip steak, Cajun ribeye, broiled salmon, or chicken Christopher. All that plus sides and desert at Boca, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm locations.
Lola’s on Harrison
The Hollywood destination restaurant will host a Father’s Day Beer Dinner for dad. Menu details have yet to be announced, but seatings will run from 5 to 8 p.m.
Brio Tuscan Grill
The Italian joint in Gulfstream Park is offering a gift card promotion for Father’s Day. Purchase a $50 gift card and receive $10 free. Visit brioitalian.com.
Big City TavernCity Oyster and Sushi BarCity Cellar
This trio of restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, and West Palm is giving the entire family a Father’s Day break. Kids under 10 eat free from the children’s menu, plus dad will receieve half-off all bottle and draft beer.
Cafe Boulud
The upscale Palm Beach digs will be running a three-course brunch menu with drink specials for $32. Brunch will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Chima
Oh God, the steak. Dad can feast on meat until his heart’s content on Father’s Day, since Chima will be open for lunch — noon to 3 p.m.
Fulvio’s 1900
Celebrate with dad in classic Italian style with a three-course, $39 menu. Enjoy appetizer, entree, and dessert for one price.
McCormick and Schmick’s
All Father’s Day weekend (that’s June 17 to 19), this seafood restaurant will offer a mixed grill for Dad, featuring filet medallion, grilled salmon, crab cake, and chocolate crème brulee for $29.95.
