If you believe that the Lord Baby Jesus is in heaven looking out for all the unborn zygotes out there, then you'll support South Florida state Rep. Anitere Flores. She's got a bill in Tallahassee that would require women seeking abortion to get an ultrasound. To emphasize how important it is to the Lord Baby Jesus that abortion-seeking women have an ultrasound, the Christian Coalition of South Florida's blog employed the caps key for this message:

PRAY FOR GOD TO MOVE UPON THE HEART OF THESE LEGISLTORS TO CAST A YES VOTE FOR THIS BILL. THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS AVAILATH MUCH!

It's important to note here that I just cut and pasted that message and am not responsible for any misspellings or the use of archaic forms of English. It's also important to note that the Catholic Church has bestowed upon Flores its coveted Defender of Life Award, which may or may not come with a solid gold statue of a zygote.

As a Defender of Life, Flores can apparently use the power of the Lord Baby Jesus to impede on the privacy between doctor and patient. So I'm assuming that Defender of Life Anitere Flores also doesn't mind if we impede on her patient-doctor privacy.

With that in mind, I sent off a little request this morning to see if Flores would sacrifice her own medical records for the sake of Lord Baby Jesus-supported unborn zygotes.

Dear Rep. Flores,

Critics of your bill that would require women seeking an abortion to have an ultrasound say it infringes on patient-doctor privacy. As a Defender of Life, I imagine you believe that patient-doctor privacy comes second to protecting unborn children. With that in mind, I hope that you would release your medical records publicly in order to show that patient-doctor privacy comes second to the hopes and dreams of unborn children.

Yours in the love of the Lord Baby Jesus,
Eric Barton

Taking a page from the playbook of the anti- and pro-abortion types, I'm thinking I ought to encourage you to also send off this message to Flores, so click here to send away. Make sure to mention that the Lord Baby Jesus sent you.
