Candace Barbot/Miami Herald

I wasn't going to post this photograph, but since it haunts me, I must share it with you. The embrace between Supertintendent Frank Till and this man seems so intimate, so loving, yet so grotesque. And the weirdest part is that both the Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald had the same shot of this particular Till embrace with this particular fellow. This photo is from the Herald -- and the one in the Sentinel was even odder looking. So who is the man Till is so warmly comforting? It's Ivan Baratz, a long-time schools volunteer and activist for special-education students.
