For the second week running, NBC's Parks & Recreation has massaged music dorks' heartstrings. Although the Neutral Milk Hotel gag was a good one, last night's season finale episode decided to top Elton John & Bernie Taupin's song for Marilyn Monroe that was later updated and expanded to honor Princess Diana after her death in 1997. By a mere 5,000.

HUGE SPOILER ALERT: "What's 5,000 times better than 'A Candle in the Wind'?" Andy Dwyer asks seemingly rhetorically. And then he launches into the powerful, Toby Keith-esque tribute to the now-departed Li'l Sebastian, "Pawnee's favorite miniature horse."

Nevermind what trading legs for angel's wings would look like, or any other kicking a dead horse jokes. And you knew a Facebook tribute page wouldn't be far behind. Watch the entire episode with additional "producer's cut" footage here.
