Florida football fans may remember Randy Grimes, the long-time offensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer who retired in 1992 after a 10-year career. This week, Grimes is back in Florida, but it's a less than triumphant return. The opening paragraph in the New York Daily News story:

It had been almost 24 hours since Randy Grimes arrived at the Fort Lauderdale airport and downed two dozen pills in the baggage area, one last fling with painkillers before he climbed into the black Suburban that took him to Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, a drug-treatment center that would be his home for the next few weeks.
I suppose we can cut Grimes some slack for not being more disciplined at updating his Twitter page.

Can we please make sure that armed guards escort Grimes to the airport gate? You know, since on his way back from rehab he'll have to pass through the nation's painkiller capital.
