Who grows your vegetables? Who produces grass-fed beef? Catches your wild shrimp? Anyone...?
Get to know local farmers, ranchers and others who get the foods from their sources to our tables at Monday's Localecopia Meet & Greet in West Palm Beach.
Tastings and information for products like herbs, beef, breads, fruit leathers, quail eggs, ice creams, jerky, sprouts, a number of produce interests and more will be displaying their foods and talking about their sourcing.
If you're a potential member of Localecopia - a group formed to promote locally grown or harvested foods and technology to benefit those growers, there's still time to join and display for free.
The Meet & Greet is free, from 10 a.m.-noon, at the Clayton E. Hutcheson Agricultural Services Center, 559 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
For more information about the event or to display your foods, email [email protected]. For information about Localecopia, go to their website at localecopia.org.
