Beatlemania swept the nation in the ’60s and never truly left. As John Lennon once said, “The Beatles are more popular than Jesus.” Offensive? Maybe. Controversial? Completely. But hey — how many albums has Jesus sold? Unfortunately, since Lennon’s life was taken, future generations are unable to get the full Beatles experience. Until now. At 7:30 p.m., “Yesterday and Today — The Interactive Beatles Experience” transforms the Miniaci Performing Arts Center (3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) into a haven for Beatles lovers. Connecting the audience with the band, this tribute concert is like no other. Audience members are encouraged to tell personal stories and yell out song titles, ensuring that no set lists are ever the same. Tickets cost $25 to $35 and can be purchased by visiting miniacipac.com.
