Art Under the Sun

It’s an arts jubilee over on Las Olas this weekend, as Howard Alan Events celebrates its 25th Anniversary Las Olas Arts Fair. A true Fort Lauderdale tradition, the fair takes over the epicenter of downtown Fort Lauderdale with a massive display of more than 150 arts vendors. There ain’t nothing like ogling more awesome things to buy that can rival the pile of week-old presents at home that you’ve already grown tired of. And on the other hand, it’s never too early to start brainstorming for 2013 holiday gift ideas. The Las Olas Arts Fair will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the fair is free (which isn’t always the case with art fairs, so take note). Call 954-592-8500, or visit
