Nothing beats shrugging off the 9-to-5 workweek like a Saturday basking in the great outdoors. How about one cruising on your bike up the scenic A1A coastal highway? Throw in raising buttloads of cash benefiting four local HIV/AIDS service organizations and you’ve got yourself a ride worth taking. Bike It for Life launches at the Pride Center at Equality Park and is a one-day progressive ride, meaning participants can choose to cruise a 15-, 32-, 63-, or 100-mile ride on their trusty two-wheeler. Choose your own adventure and find out just how good a workout can feel not only for your legs but for your karma. Bike It for Life kicks off Saturday with registration starting at Richardson Park at 5 a.m. The ride leaves from the Pride Center, at 2040 N. Dixie Highway in Wilton Manors. The registration fee is $50 with a personal fundraising goal set at $250. For more information and to register, visit bikeitforlife.org, or call 866-696-7701.
