Car Gazing

Normally, when you see some kid in a freshly pimped-out ride testing his new subwoofers, you think, “Damn, that’s annoying.” But if you’re observing said car owner at this Sunday’s Car Warz 2010, you’ll more likely think, “Damn, that’s a sweet ride.” With $40,000 in cash prizes available, car enthusiasts will turn out in droves to battle for top honors in a number of categories, from muscle cars and luxury vehicles to donks (a Fort Lauderdale favorite). There’s also a low-rider hydraulic show and car stereo competition, a bikini contest (women), hard body contest (men), raffle prizes, and lots more car-related fun. Hell, even DJ Khaled makes an appearance.

Car Warz takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood). Admission costs $20 for adults and is free for children under 12. Visit carwarz10.com, or call 954-744-4114.
