South Florida culture may seem like an oxymoron to some people down here. Fortunately, the folks at WeMerge magazine don’t share that view. They’ve been busy documenting and promoting local culture for the past three years. And now, to celebrate the magazine’s fifth issue, the Grace Cafe & Gallery is hosting one hell of a party this Saturday. With performances by musicians like Marc Solomon, Alex Nelson, Web Three, and Ghost of Gloria, as well as artwork by Kazilla and Katie Sottak, the event also marks the opening of a 30-day exhibit by the Miami Stuckists. Also on hand: the South Florida Camera Club, clothing designer Inked Productions, and Quicktrackz mobile recording studio, which will record the event — and prove that South Florida culture is a very real thing.

Head on over at 7 p.m. to the Grace Cafe & Gallery at 49 N. Federal Highway in Dania Beach. Call 954-816-3324, or visit wemergetalent.com.
