Fetch a Dog Ball for Charity

The Tri-County Humane Society is an incredible organization. It is a 100 percent no-kill shelter that rescues more than 3,000 pups that would've otherwise gone to the big dog park in the sky. The society travels far and wide, going from natural disasters like the Oklahoma tornadoes from last year in search of lost pets that need a place to go. In that case, it saved 80 dogs and cats that were set to be euthanized, and except for six of them, they have all been adopted. But possibly the best thing about the Tri-County Humane Society is that it decided to call its huge charity event a "Doggie Ball." So if you are a fan of dog balls and would like to participate in raising funds for this incredible organization, we recommend getting a firm grasp on this year's Doggie Ball. The Tri-County Humane Society Doggie Ball will be held Sunday at the Boca West Country Club, located at 20583 Boca W. Drive in Boca Raton. The theme is Western, so find a Great Dane and strap a saddle on him, y'all. (Kidding!) The event will have plenty of delicious cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. There will also be silent and live auctions, a finger-lickin' dinner, a live band, and plenty of dancing. Tickets cost $250, and every penny goes toward keeping the Tri-County Humane Society arms-deep in dogs and cats that need all the help they can get. Visit tricountyhumane.org, or call 561-482-8110.
