The Seminole Hard Rock's Improv in Fort Lauderdale is welcoming local talent to showcase their skills in front of a live audience. If you enjoy making people laugh and have yearned to be onstage at a comedy club, then take advantage of signing up to the "Fresh New Faces Nights" being held on two Thursdays, June 12 and June 26. The Improv is searching for brand-spanking-new talent. Each comedian will receive five minutes of stage time and get perks for participating, such as free admission for their guests. There is just one catch, though: You must bring at least ten fans before you can crack some jokes onstage. Make your way to the funny-infused open-mic nights, where doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 at the comedy club, located at 5700 Seminole Way. You must be 18 years old or older to attend. There is also a two-drink minimum purchase if you plan on attending the funny spectacle. To sign up for the open-mic night, call 561-404-4512 or email [email protected]. You also don't have to be a comedian to attend the comical evening. Come out and support the local talent. Visit ftl.improv.com, or call 954-981-5653.
