With Robert Plant's epic yawps, Jimmy Page's masterful, bewitching guitar strokes, and John Bonham's monstrous snare-drum rolls, Led Zeppelin rose to become one of the '70s' seminal acts. Arguably, its sound defined a generation and will go down in the annals of classic rock for generations to come. Most of us, however, were not lucky enough to experience Led Zeppelin's legendary wallop back in its heyday. Luckily for those wanting to get the Led out, the Pure Zeppelin Experience exists. For the past three and a half years, this local troupe has been mesmerizing crowds by re-creating the majesty of the Led Zeppelin experience note for note and howl for howl. Using vintage instruments from the '70s and with uncanny resemblances to the original members, the Pure Zeppelin Experience time-warps audiences back the glory days when Page and Plant reigned supreme. This weekend, attendees will be treated to exceptional re-creations of "Immigrant Song," "Moby Dick," "Stairway to Heaven," and "A Whole Lotto Love," with show proceeds benefiting the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Florida.
