We all love the holidays, but not so much getting out of our cars. Luckily, we have one holiday tradition here in South Florida that addresses that very issue. The Holiday Fantasy of Lights at Tradewinds Park contains three miles of giant animated holiday displays and illuminated trees for your viewing pleasure. Put on your favorite holiday sweater, set the car AC to full blast, and sip hot cocoa as you slowly drive through thousands of twinkling lights. Enhance your drive-through adventure by picking up 3-D glasses will at the entry of the drive-thru for just $3 for three pairs. Proceeds go to the Alzheimer Family Center. The Holiday Fantasy of Lights takes place nightly from 6 to 10 p.m. through January 4, including Thanksgiving,Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Tradewinds Park is located at 3600 W. Sample Road in Coconut Creek. Each carload must pay $14 to get into the park. Visit holidaylightsdrivethru.com.
