Rent tells the classic tale of boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, boy and girl both realize they have HIV along with nearly everyone else they know. So perhaps it’s not a traditional love story, but it’s certainly an entertaining one. Rent has been on Broadway and in theaters, and now it’s coming to South Florida. Andrews Living Art Studio is showing Rent, with Rolling Stock Gallery supplying an incredibly appropriate backdrop as it currently has on display some amazing graffiti art. It’s being presented in an outdoor theater located across from the box office, but don’t worry: There’s an indoor stage as well in case of poor weather.
