Clematis Street, filled with bars and great local venues, is always a hot spot on any given weekend. None more so than the Saturday before Halloween, when Moonfest takes over. In case you're clueless, are new to Florida, or got so wasted last hear that you don't remember going, Moonfest is a massive event that takes over Clematis Street from the 100 block to the 500 block. It's a sensory overload, with music blaring from three stages, a $1,000-prize costume contest, and many vendors there to make getting your food or drink on as easy as possible. This year promises to be especially great, because Moonfest is celebrating 20 years. Moonfest will take place on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach. General admission is $7 in advance and $10 the day of. This event runs from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday. Call 561-667-1030, or visit moonfest2012.org.
