Mysterious Weekend

There aren't many qualifications for the Sunday Sleuths book club at beloved mystery bookshop and performance space Murder on the Beach. One, the club is for all ages, so young, persnickety Nancy Drew types can sit right alongside hardened career Colombos and Angela Lansbury doppelgangers to solve the toughest cases. Two, there is no sign-up, so mystery lovers can just walk in a couple of minutes before the 3 p.m. start time and grab a spot. And last, it's free, so there is no monetary barrier from participating in the fun. There is, however, one hard and fast rule of book club that the staff sticks to -- you have to have read the damned book being discussed. This Sunday Sleuth edition is a selection by New York Times bestselling author Harlan Coben, Six Years. Six years have passed since Jake Fisher watched the love of his life marry another man. When he sees that other man's name in the local obituaries, Fisher makes a go at locating his old flame Natalie (Hello, stalker!), but nothing is quite what it seems. Murder on the Beach is located at 273 NE Second Ave. in Delray Beach. Call 561-279-7790, or visit murderonthebeach.com.
