Party in a Garage — An Arts Garage

Delray Beach's ongoing performing arts project, the Arts Garage, is a product of the Creative City Collaborative, a program dedicated to "infusing arts and culture into the Delray Beach Community" by presenting different musical programs and creative performances. In 2010, the Collaborative decided to transform the storefront space at Old School Square Parking Garage into a cultural and arts activities space. That space became known as Arts Garage and is celebrating its One Year Anniversary Gala on Saturday. Ed Calle, two-time Latin Grammy nominee jazz saxophonist will kick off the night with cabaret performances along with a mix of surprised artists beloved to Arts Garage. Food will be provided by Breathe Restaurant & Ultra Lounge, Delray's new Mediterranean-fusion restaurant. Locals can try their hand at winning great prizes during the silent auction. Tickets are $75 or $125 for couples. Visit artsgarage.org or call 561-450-6357.
