Score Your Own Goal

Grab your jersey, your friends, and your spirit and join the Pub Pembroke Pines for the World's Finest Football Party. Bring an appetite and some amiable rivalry as you meet fellow soccer aficionados and cheer on your favorite teams while keeping score -- not only of their goals but of yours too. All visitors can get a scorecard through July 13 to keep track of rewards. Scorecards will be stamped for each match day attended. At set milestones, you can reap the fruits of your celebration -- whether it be a $10 gift certificate and an entry in a grand-prize drawing for a $250 gift card for five match-day visits; two Pub Schooner glasses, a $25 gift certificate, and three additional entries into the drawing for ten visits; or two pub souvenir mugs, a $50 gift certificate, and five additional entries for the drawing if you visit on every match day. Football party dining specials include the World Plate, with assorted dips, chips, and breads for sharing; World Cup Tea; and beer: the Team USA Beer Bucket and the World Team Beer Bucket. Watch and score at the Pub Pembroke Pines, located at 237 SW 145th Ave. in Pembroke Pines. It is open 11 a.m. to midnight Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday. Call 954-430-4230, or visit experiencethepub.com/pembroke.
