Take Me Out to the Ball Game — Seriously

Love baseball but want to avoid all that annoying drunk driving? Relax, Duffy’s Sports Grill and the Miami Marlins have got you covered with their new MVP program. Typically, baseline seats in the Marlins’ sleek, new, state-of-the-art stadium go for $70 each, not to mention parking. Duffy’s MVP program offers Fish fans the total package — tickets, transportation (round trip), and a $10 Duffy’s gift card all for $40 per person. Choose one game or see all three: the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday; the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, August 12; and the New York Mets game on Saturday, September 1. Tickets can be purchased up to three days before the game. Transportation via charter bus departs from Duffy’s locations in West Palm Beach and Deerfield Beach. Buses head to the Marlins’ stadium two and a half hours before the first pitch and leave 30 minutes after the game has ended. This season, don’t pass on those pregame pitchers of beer or overpriced stadium cocktails. Flag down your nearest beer vendor and tell him to keep ’em coming. Call 561-804-7676, or visit duffysmvp.com/landing22. The buses will depart from two Duffy’s locations: Village Commons Plaza, 721 Village Blvd. in West Palm Beach (561-688-1820); and Deerfield Beach, 401 N. Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach (954-429-8820).
