It's time to dust off that obnoxious (read: awesome) green top hat and shamrock suspenders and dance a little jig down to the Pub Pembroke for some St. Patrick's tomfoolery. Pretend your ancestors came over from the Emerald Isle as you toast in a mumbled "Irish" lilt with a glass of $5 Guinness in hand. Other drink specials offered throughout the day include $5 Car Bombs and Jameson shots, $3 Jell-O shots, and $5 Harp. And fine, if you must have it, there's $3 green beer to boot. Live music includes Doug & Lenny at noon, bagpipers at 5 p.m., and a DJ starting at 6. St. Patrick's Day will be celebrated from 8 a.m. to close Sunday at the Pub Pembroke, located at 237 SW 145th Terrace at the Shops at Pembroke Gardens in Pembroke Pines. There's no admission fee and food and drink will be available at varying prices. Call 954-430-4230, or visit experiencethepub.com/pembroke.
