Before the 14th annual Hukilau festival gets too far away from us — remember, Mary Ann was in town last weekend — we'd be remiss not to point out this video that our friends across the BPB universe made last weekend, featuring festival founder Christie White. Here, White shares a little knowledge about the origins of The Hukilau as well as the event's goal: casting a “metaphorical net” to catch as many fun loving folks from around the world. Last weekend The Hukilau drew about 800 fans and seems like it's only getting stronger; perhaps as strong as some of the fruity and flowery cocktails served throughout the weekend.
