The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show runs through this weekend. And while the show exhibits all kinds of boats and water crafts, the main attraction are going to be the yachts.
Fort Lauderdale is the Yacht Capital of the World, so it's only appropriate that the show carries not only yachts, but SUPER yachts. What are super yachts, exactly? Are they yachts injected with gamma rays? Yachts that get their power from the yellow sun? Yachts that fight crime?
Not really. They're merely yachts. Only bigger. And pricey-er. And more awesome.
Here now are the six largest super yachts you'll be able to gawk at during the boat show this weekend. And, if you have the means, maybe you'll buy yourself a couple:
6. April Fool (Length: 200 feet)
A Twin screw motor yacht, April Fool was built in 2006 with a 35'8 beam. It can accommodate up to 10 guests and 17 crew members). It has an oak and cherry interior based on a concept by Larvor of France, and a glass central staircase. It has Twin 2001hp Caterpillar engines and can hit a maximum speed of 16 knots.

5. Diamonds Are Forever (Length: 200 feet)
Built by Benetti, the Diamonds Are Forever can accommodate up to fourteen guests in its six staterooms. A six deck model that sports Twin Caterpillar 3512HD engines, with a cruising speed of up to 14 knots, topping off at 16 knots.

4. Baton Rouge (Length:205 feet)
Sporting a 39.7' beam, accommodating 12 guests and a crew of 16, the Baton Rouge by Icon runs on Twin 2480hp MTU engines with top speed at 14.5 knots. Special features include a gym, quantum zero speed stabilizers, forward observation lounge with access to a foredeck, two double/twin convertible cabins and two double cabins on the lower deck.

2. Kismet (Length: 223 feet)
Built with a steel hull aluminum superstructure construction, sporting a 42 foot beam, and accommodating twelve, the Kismet runs on Twin Caterpillar 3512B Diesels engines and tops off at 16 knots with a cruising speed of 14 knots.

1. Cakewalk (Length: 284 feet)
Built by Derecktor, the Cakewalk is a whopping 284 foot mega yacht with a 46.92 foot beam. A Steel Hull, Aluminum Superstructure construction, the vessel runs on Twin16V400M71 @ 2465BKW (3306HP) engines (that rubs on 97,000 gallons of fuel). She tops off at a maximum speed of 17 knots with a cruising speed of 15 knots. It accommodates 14 guests with a crew of up to twenty four. With one master, four doubles, and two twin.
