It's a pretty exciting time for young creatives in Fort Lauderdale. Like our big sister to the south, we're getting our own crop of hip co-working coffee joints, boutique bar and restaurant concepts, and small but growing enclaves of arts-minded individuals coming together to make things happen.

C&I Studios in FAT Village has been at the forefront of Fort Lauderdale's recent creative wave, and their latest large-scale endeavor, For the Love Fest, is a testament to their growing influence. Launched last year with Lakeland indie outfit Copeland as headliners, the inaugural music event gave a reassuring glimpse of FAT Village's future

Today, C&I Studios announced Pompano Beach emo heartthrobs Further Seems Forever as headliners of their second-annual event, which will also feature over 30 other mostly-local acts.

Here's the full announcement:
This year, sporting the top dog spot is your favorite teenage heart melters, Further Seems Forever.

But which line up, you may ask? You'll be catching FSF with frontman Jason Gleason (think album How To Start A Fire)

Wipe your eyes, throw your fist in the air, and rejoice!

Okay so now you're pumped. You're ready to go. March 12th can't get here soon enough, right? Cop those tickets while you can, because this year is going to be off the hook.

Have no idea what we're talking about? It's ok. We'll hold your hand through this one.

For The Love, is a one day music festival produced by C&I Studios and Exposed PR.

On March 12th, 2016 over 30 bands will play on the three stages at C&I Studios in Fort lauderdale Florida. Attendees will stroll through the variety of venues showcasing art, music, food, and cocktails while interacting with experiential brand activations, watching live art presentations, and listening in on industry talks with local and touring musicians. Local vendors booths will round out the space and provide entertainment between music acts. All are welcome, it's all for the love....of music, of life, of local.
