Just when you thought Rep. Allen West had dumped on just about everyone with differing political opinions, he found out Samuel L. Jackson isn't a big fan of the Tea Party.
You know what that means -- a Fox News appearance.
Responding to an interview in which Jackson said he agreed with Morgan Freeman that the Tea Party's a tad racist, West said Jackson should focus on his upcoming movies and realize that it's President Obama and his administration that are the real racists.
We're not sure where to start on this one, since West is trying to debate politics with a guy whose acting repotoire includes playing the imaginary friend of a black samurai and some dude who's motherf@#$ing tired of motherf@#$ing snakes on motherf@#$ing planes, but here it goes:
In an interview with New York Magazine, Jackson said he'd never heard of Texas Gov. Rick Perry's "Niggerhead" debacle, although he said he wasn't exactly surprised.
When asked about Morgan Freeman's claim that the Tea Party isn't too privy to black people, Jackson said he agreed:
It's pretty obvious what they are. The division of the country is not about the government having too much power. I think everything right now is geared toward getting that guy out of office, whatever that means. It's not politics. It is not economics. It all boils down to pretty much to race. It is a shame.
Then West made his Fox News appearance for the oh-so-necessary response to the political beliefs of Samuel L. Jackson.
"Well, I think Samuel Jackson needs to pay more attention to the upcoming release of the movie Avengers next summer and not getting concerned with the politics and policies of the failed administration," West said. "Samuel L. Jackson, I guess, disregards the 16.7 percent unemployment rate in the black community, a 20 percent unemployment rate for black adult males and a 45 to 46 percent unemployment for black teenagers."
But what does it all mean, Rep. West?
"I think the racism that he is talking about is coming out of the White House and this administration," West continued.
West then went on to talk about failures of the Obama administration, including saying the president's health-care law is "already seeing a rise in health insurance policies, and it's failing." (We think he may have meant to add the word "prices" in there somewhere.)
