The fifth annual New Times Pairings event is right around the corner. On September 13 from 7 to 10 p.m. the Broward County Convention Center will host this evening of good food and good wine. If you've been procrastinating about your ticket buying we've got some reasons why you should buy them now:

1. Wine
Wines from about 20 different vineyards will flow freely at Pairings. The wines, presented by Wine Watch Wine Boutique, will feature

both domestic and imported favorites from wineries like Ste. Michelle

Estates, Ferrari Carrano, and Landmark Vineyards, to name a few.

2. Food
Food

and wine go hand in hand, and with over 40 of south Florida's

restaurants participating in Pairings, you'll run out of room before you

run out of options. Stroll the Broward County Convention Center, glass in hand, and sample tasty bites from restaurants like YOLO, Bimini Boatyard, 3030

Ocean, Rebel House, China Grill, and Cafe Maxx.

3. Craft Beers
If

beer's your thing, it's all good. Pairings has your back with over a

dozen fine beers including Hatuey, Key West Sunset Ale, and Swamp Ape

IPA.

4. Cocktails
Cocktails made with Zignum Mezcal, Gran Sierpe pisco, and Puerto

Rican rum will be offered for your drinking pleasure. That's some mighty fine cocktailing to go with your dining experience.

5. Jack & Jill Center
What's

better than having a great time eating and drinking with friends? When

you're doing something good in return. New Times Pairings will support

the Jack & Jill Children's Center, a non-profit organization that

provides family oriented early childhood education and support to

strengthen working families of Broward County. The accredited program

supports the intellectual, emotional, physical and social development of

young children.

General
