Trader Joe's Announces Opening Dates for Three Palm Beach County Locations

It's here! The news Palm Beach County shoppers have been waiting for. Trader Joe's has just announced opening dates for its Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Boca Raton stores.

All three locations will open in September, with Delray Beach the first neighborhood to be given the opportunity to purchase Two Buck Chuck and cookie butter. The store, located at 1851 S. Federal Highway, will open Friday, September 5.

The Palm Beach Gardens location, at PGA Plaza (2560 PGA Blvd.), will follow suit with a September 19 grand opening.

Boca Raton gets its opportunity for low-priced, GMO-free goodies on Friday, September 26, when Trader Joe's opens at 855 S. Federal Highway.

The "trading hours" for each store will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily (get used to Trader Joe's lingo, folks), and each location will feature cedar-covered walls and tropical décor with local art incorporated throughout.

Trader Joe's, a phenomenon throughout the country, opened its first southeast Florida location in Pinecrest last year and was named Best Supermarket for 2014 by our sister publication, Miami New Times.

If the Pinecrest grand-opening celebration gives us any indication of what these three "first days" will be like, expect freebies like Hawaiian leis, tote bags, tastings -- and large crowds.
