It's become a parental tradition: taking pictures of kids in a pumpkin patch. Kind of like the fall version of the social media Christmas card. And yes, we agree, your kid looks great surrounded by a mountain of gourds. But let's be honest, it's kind of wasteful. The majority of those pumpkins used for photo ops are most likely going to rot away now that the holiday has passed. Unless, of course, you decide to raid one of those unmanned pumpkin patches. "Procure" your pumpkins. Many of those huge patches are now unmanned. But beware of the ones with soggy bottoms.
