The Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) made a real push in July to highlight design elements for the home with South Florida living in mind. This Thursday, it has partnered with kitchen innovators Sub-Zero & Wolf, SieMatic Kitchens, and NEFF as well as Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine to introduce new showroom products and kitchen design ideas. Cooking presentations with some of their newest gadgets run from noon to 4 p.m. with guests like Shikany Restaurant's executive chef Michael Shikany and executive chef Todd Lough from the Pelican Grind Beach Resort. Other events through the day that will feature in their open house will showcase Duralee Fabrics, Ralph Lauren Home Collection, Eggersmann Kitchens, and Poggenpohl. All of these will focus on the Floridian home and will have brand representatives on hand to provide complimentary design consultations. Refreshments and bites will be served throughout the day. Seating is limited, so RSVP at [email protected]. The Design Center of the Americas is located on 1855 Griffin Road, Dania Beach. Call 954-920-7997, or visit dcota.com.
