If you have ever unknowingly passed up on a subtle hangout offer from someone you’re crushing on or leaned in for a kiss while your date was checking her phone for that promised “emergency” call from a friend, you may be really bad at reading other people’s signals. Picking up on what others are putting down is a true gift and one that not everyone possesses. Thankfully, the minds behind FLLNightlife.com have come up with a clearer system this holiday weekend to avoid any awkward situations with the Valentine’s Day Red Light, Green Light Party at the Living Room at the W Hotel (401 N. Fort Lauderdale Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) on Saturday. At the entrance, guests will be provided with their choice of bracelet: Green means single, red means coupled up, and yellow is for the “It’s complicated” crowd. The party runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with a cash bar, VIP tables, party favors, and music by DJ A-Train. Admission is $15 with advanced tickets and package deals available at fllnightlife.com. Call 954-414-8300, or visit FLLNightlife.com.
