Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and according to the Holy Grail of college paper bibliographies, Wikipedia, it's named for Saint Valentine, who apparently "was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry." So basically, if you celebrate Valentine's Day, you are pro-marriage equality. Of course, if you don't get your significant other the perfect gift, you won't be "pro" anything and your V-Day could turn into D-Day. Luckily, Indie Craft Bazaar: Needle Little Love is here to help. More than 65 vendors will offer unique indie, handmade, homemade, or vintage items for purchase. If you don't know what to get your significant other, simply walk around and wait till you see something that reminds you of your mate. If you still can't find anything, ask one of the fortunetellers or tarot card readers to guide you. There's a $3 mimosa bar, and with your paid $5 admission, you get a raffle ticket that will qualify you for hourly giveaways. The bazaar will take place at Revolution Live, 100 SW Third Ave. in Fort Lauderdale, this Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., just in time for Valentine's Day procrastinators to find a great gift and come out shining this February 14. Parking is complimentary, and the first 100 guests get a free goodie bag. Visit getupandcraft.com, or call 954-785-7475.
