Thrill Her

There are many world citizens who consider committing the perfect crime -- every day. They revel in what would be the ultimate thrill -- which can be brought on only by the utter compulsion to murder another human. Everything's fueled by what they imagine would be the sheer satisfaction of pulling it off. That's exactly what Leopold and Loeb did back in 1924 when the so-called "thrill killers" murdered a young boy in order to commit their ideal crime. Their story has been depicted everywhere from Alfred Hitchcock's film drama Rope and Compulsion to the York Theatre's critically acclaimed performance of the same story. Now, a rendition of that same play is coming to the Rising Action Theatre, and it's called Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story, running until November 20. Performances will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m., and tickets can be purchased at
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Oct. 23. Continues through Nov. 20, 2011
