Walk It Off

Walking is supposed to be a healthy, calorie-burning activity intended to raise your heart rate, trim your waistline, and improve overall wellness. While a Dishcrawl is basically a prolonged evening stroll -- or crawl, really -- it has the opposite effect of a vigorous hike. It's more likely to add a few pounds than take a few off: the perfect activity for gluttons and drunks. Dishcrawl, a progressive-eating event featured in major cities throughout North America, is coming to Fort Lauderdale for the first time this Tuesday at 7 p.m. The $45 ticket includes four dishes at four Las Olas area restaurants, three of which are top secret until the night of the crawl.
