Around 8 p.m. on May 30, someone attacked a man on the 2500 block of Northwest 8th Street in Franklin Park, according to police. The robber put the man in a chokehold and held what the victim believes was a boxcutter to his throat. The robber demanded money then ran away -- but the victim gave chase, fighting the man until the robber allegedly cut his own hands and escaped.

Unfortunately for the mugger, police say he dropped his camera phone.

The Broward Sheriff's Office released three pictures (1, 2, 3) today that they say is from the suspect's phone -- if you know anything about the crime, they're asking you call Det. Armando Enrique at 954-321-4270 or Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477. There is an award of "up to $1,000 ... for information leading to an arrest."
